Notes

This course helps the participant prepare for (ISC)2 CISSP exam and includes an exam voucher. The voucher is valid for 12 months after the course at a Pearson VUE testing center.

Recommendations

The CISSP exam is recommended for experienced cybersecurity practitioners, managers and executives.

It is recommended that you have 5 years’ cumulative paid full-time experience in two or more of the eight CISSP Common Body of Knowledge domains.

You may substitute 1 year of experience with an undergraduate degree or certification in an approved CISSP prerequisite credential, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

If you don’t have the required experience, you can pass the CISSP exam to become an Associate of (ISC)2. Then you’ll have up to 6 years to earn your required work experience.

The live instructor teaches the course and provides the opportunity for remote attendees to participate in discusses and exercises with both in-person and remote attendees. Some courses involve hands-on activities and labs. These activities are performed via a secure cloud-accessible environment.
