  • Identify the security requirements of each of the eight domains
  • Understand the value of information security professionals and the CISSP certification process

  • Take the CISSP exam
  • Become a member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2

Notes

This course helps the participant prepare for (ISC)2 CISSP exam and includes an exam voucher. The voucher is valid for 12 months after the course at a Pearson VUE testing center.

Recommendations

The CISSP exam is recommended for experienced cybersecurity practitioners, managers and executives.

It is recommended that you have 5 years’ cumulative paid full-time experience in two or more of the eight CISSP Common Body of Knowledge domains.

You may substitute 1 year of experience with an undergraduate degree or certification in an approved CISSP prerequisite credential, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

If you don’t have the required experience, you can pass the CISSP exam to become an Associate of (ISC)2. Then you’ll have up to 6 years to earn your required work experience.
